JetsAlternate (#335): He just made his powerplay debut towards the end of the second period, and one-timed two pucks towards the net. The crowd “oohed” at both attempts, gasping in awe. You can feel the electricity when his stick makes contact with the puck.

Extremely weak on board battles. Needs to learn to dump the puck. Clunky long stick.
Fast, big, good shot, can get open for scoring, very underrated passer with excellent long range saucer.

Laine highest 5v5 corsi on his team at 61.11%(+33.11% RelTM). Other linemates at 52.63% and 47.62%.
Some very good defensive plays. Whiffed the puck on an empty net…
He can do better but that still was pretty good for a first game.
